An Anthurium tissue culture from The Plant Nook Shop is a lab starter. It is not an exact plant, and it is not growers choice already rooted in a pot. Exact means the photographed specimen ships — including the $2,700 cabinet plants on the exact Anthurium page. Growers choice is the named variety, our pick from stock. Tissue culture is the plantlet in the bag. Read exact plant vs growers choice vs tissue culture before you mix them at checkout.
Want the finished velvet leaf in a greenhouse photo? That is the exact Anthurium collection, not this page.
Flasks come from vetted labs, then Indra checks them here for visible contamination and obvious shipping damage. Living plants leave Monday through Wednesday. UPS 2-Day is what we prefer. Timing, insulation, heat packs, and the 40°F rule live on how we ship plants from Easley.
Velvet Anthuriums leave our Easley greenhouse around 70–90% humidity. UPS 2-Day is a dry box. That drop is why we ship Monday–Wednesday from South Carolina: a fresh velvet can look dramatic on day one and still need a slow, humid bridge at your house. Keep the plantlet stable while you acclimate.
Most Anthurium TC on this page is a pre-order on the next incoming run — typically 1–3 weeks. If a listing is marked on-hand, it can ship on the next Monday–Wednesday ship day once packed. We do not pretend every bag is sitting on a US shelf today.
Need bulk bags for a nursery? Use wholesale tissue culture plants — different minimums, different pack sizes, different page. Shopping Alocasia flasks too? Sister page: Alocasia tissue culture plants.
Shipping is typically 1–3 weeks unless a listing is marked as on-hand stock ready to ship. New runs land at the Easley, SC greenhouse about every two weeks. Living plants go out Monday–Wednesday.
No. These are lab starters. Variegation may not show on the culture yet — that is normal on standard-grade TC. If you need the plant in a finished photo, buy an exact Anthurium listing, not tissue culture.
Both. Species on this page include Veitchii, Warocqueanum, Forgetii, Magnificum, Pallidiflorum, Vittariifolium, Clarinervium King, and Luxurians. Dark Phoenix and Ace of Spades are hybrids. A hybrid TC is still a starter of that cross, not a selected clone. Species TC is a plantlet of that species, not a finished cabinet plant.
No. The Plant Nook Shop is not a walk-in storefront. We ship from the greenhouse in Easley, South Carolina. Questions: contact us, 864-252-1939.
