Monstera Esqueleto Grower’s Choice

Monstera Esqueleto – Grower's Choice

This is a Grower's Choice listing. We hand-pick a healthy Monstera Esqueleto similar to the one pictured. The photo shows a representative plant, not the exact plant you will receive.

Monstera Esqueleto (often sold as Monstera sp. Esqueleto, related to Monstera epipremnoides) is prized for its extreme fenestration: large, thin, light-green leaves with so many open holes they look like a leaf skeleton. It is a standout climber for collectors who love dramatic, airy foliage.

Every plant is a little different. Leaf size and fenestration vary from plant to plant. Individual pics are available on request. Just contact us before ordering and we will send photos of the plants available.

Care basics

• Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun on the thin leaves.
• Higher humidity (60%+) helps new leaves open cleanly.
• Chunky, well-draining aroid mix. Water when the top inch or two dries out.
• Give it a moss pole or plank to climb; mature leaves fenestrate more as it climbs.
• Warm temperatures (65–85°F).
