Keep the growing environment warm, humid, bright, and consistently damp while your seeds establish their first roots and leaves.
Build a High-Humidity Haven
Anthurium seeds demand high humidity to sprout and settle in. A plastic propagation box, clear takeout container with a lid, or a sealed ziplock bag works well. Keep the cover closed to trap moisture.
Bring the Heat
Keep seeds between 75°F and 82°F. If your room runs chilly, place the propagation container on a basic seedling heat mat to encourage faster sprouting and root growth.
Give Them Bright Light
Place the setup under a grow light or near a window with bright, indirect light. Avoid hot direct sunlight, which can overheat and bake seedlings inside a closed container.
